For a new two-story residential building with over 20 squares of completely flat roof surface, we applied a premium GAF Built-Up Roofing (BUR) system. This project featured a custom tapered insulation design, maximizing energy efficiency with a minimum R-19 rating and a 1/4-inch slope for optimal water drainage.

Our comprehensive system includes:

  • Primer: ASTM D41 for enhanced adhesion.

  • Insulation: Tapered insulation with hot mop application to ensure precise thermal performance.

  • Ventilation Sheet: Stratavent perforated sheet for improved airflow.

  • Base Sheet: GAFGLAS #80, providing a strong and durable foundation.

  • Final Sheet: A mineral surface finish for added protection and aesthetic appeal.
